can we get the passport without completing the requisite number of days

Hello everybody,
I am new to th forum and requesting help.I am a PR cardholder and due to the unfortunate job prospects here,I am working outside canada now;Someody was suggesting I apply for the passport even if i do no fulfill the required number of days.That was amazing news,if it can be done.My question is-can it be done?if so,how?

You can apply but you most certainly will get an RQ, then be scheduled to see a judge who will most likely deny your application, at which point you have spent about 2 years waiting for nothing in addition to the cost. And if you do not meet you PR residency requirements you may even get reported and lose your PR status.

You are basically asking if you can get a Canadian passport without physically living in Canada. I don't think thats possible.
