What happens if one's PGWP expires . Can person apply for work visa . What are the rules if person is working with same emplyer for more than 2 years

I would like to add to this thread with another question that relates to PGWP.

My company would like me to take up a course for four months. Is there any problem with this?

I have just submitted my cec application.

Any comments/advice will be appreciated.

PR applicants that meet certain requirements can apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit. See here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2012-12-17.asp

That's fine. You do not need a study permit for a course that is under 6 months.

Even if you need a study , you can apply and it doesnt effect your work permit.
So go ahead and take the course.
