Just heard my file has been transfered to local office without AIP after 9 months
That's gonna be a even longer wait. I m holding the visitor permit which expires in December

Am i eligible to apply a multi-entry visa that I could go back to my country visit my parents and friends ?

anyone knows about this?

any reply would be appriciated~~

Leaving the country during an inland application is not recommended. Leaving before AIP even less so. Leaving when they've transferred to local CIC for an interview is (in my opinion) an absolute no. They will likely have transferred to local CIC due to some concern about your application - possibly regarding the legitimacy of the relationship. If you leave Canada and attempt to re-enter, there is a very good chance of being denied entry, since they may believe you will be refused, and may not believe you will leave if refused.

Even if you get the TRV, that still doesn't guarantee you'll be allowed back in. If you're not allowed back in, your inland application will be refused.
