Can we apply for TWP extension while waiting for LMO?

My OH's TWP expires on May 11. His employer applied for a new LMO at the beginning of February but has not received it yet.

My question is can we apply to Vegreville to extend the work permit now, explaining that the LMO is applied for but we haven't received it yet, and send the LMO when it arrives?

If not, what should we do?

So what you gonna do now ? I see myself in the same situation. My WP is gonna expire in July and my employer applied for LMO in March last week.

What if we dont get LMO before that ?

What have you thought to do ? Please suggest me as well!!
