can we apply both visiting visa and dependent visa under federal skill at a time

I am in india.My wife is in canada under work visa. Can i apply visiting visa and she to apply dependent visa under federal skill at a time.can you please let me know what are the chances to get rejection in this case?

As your wife is in Canada on a work permit you are eligible to get an "Open Work Permit" being the spouse.

I am Tom, candidate waiting for the response of PR application in Canada. I have one doubt as following:

My wife is staying in Canada with work visa. She applied for PR on Jan ... 2013 along with me as dependent through Federal Skill worker. Urgently i need to

move to Canada through visiting visa(medical reason). Is my travel and stay in Canada affect the PR process? Is it mandatory that the dependent should be in

in other country while processing the application? if yes Could you please suggest some best option to move forward?
