Hi, folks. I recently submitted my transcripts and diploma from a US 2 year trade school program for assessment by BCIT, and received a denial letter (and thankfully a refund) saying they don't assess trade school credentials.

Given that "trade school" is an option on the EE application, and has a CRS point value attached to it, I'd think that I could get that assessed, but so far can't find any place that offers that service (all I've contacted so far explicitly say they don't assess trade school credentials)

Does anyone have advice on that front? Has anyone been able to get trade school assessed, and if it's not possible, why would that be included in the CRS system?

Thanks in advance.

As long as I know only ICAS does Trades evaluation.
Check it out http://www.icascanada.ca/new/main-application.aspx/faqs.aspx
They are very slow though, it takes 6 months or longer.
Hope it helps.
