Hi all, I have a question regarding IMM 5533. Spouse and I are living together and so we need to provide documentation for 2 out of the 3 options they list: joint ownership/lease/rental agreement, proof of joint utilities, important documents showing the same address. No problem.

Because we didn't answer yes to all four questions after that, we need to provide additional proof of relationship. There's six options this time, and some of them include documents from the first three options above: joint ownership/lease/rental agreement, proof of joint utilities, important documents showing the same address. Has anybody used the same documents for both sections? Like for example can our drivers licenses be used as proof of same address twice.

I don't know the 100% correct answer but I do think if no one else replies you should really just go the safest option and and do not use the same documents twice. I had the same question a few weeks ago when I was putting together my files but I did not use the same documents when I submitted.

membership cards, joint account, credit card's, like cra opition c,benefits
and pension plan

We used the same. Rental agreement, home insurance papers, cell phone bill, company insurance policies and showed that we were added as guarentors - no issues
