Hi All,

I have a EE profile with an ITA received and I shall be submitting it in few days.

However it being summer , I also would like to visit Canada.

I have few questions though:

- Can same profile be used for both applications i.e EE and Visitor Visa or should I create another one for Visitor Visa with new ID and GC Key and linked to a new personal reference code?
- Is it okay to submit visitor visa application and right after submit express entry , without either getting impacted ?

Thanks
Shilpi

My friend submit family sponsorship application to sponsor his wife and apply visitor visa for her right after. The visitor visa was rejected immediately because she was having a PR application on going which proved that she was not intending to go back after the visit (which is the important commitment that your need to 'swear' to the visa officer).

I hope you can relate something from that case.

You can use the same CIC account. The above case may be submitting TRV application after submission of PR application. You will be applying for TRV before applying for PR. I will also recommend getting medicals done in Canada if you haven't already. You can also get photographs for COPR done in Canada while you are there.
