I wanted to know if a person with a work permit, living in Germany and an offer letter to work in Canada can enter Canada, given the fact that the travel is only allowed for essential reasons ? I am a Software Architect by profession and I suppose I fall in the "highly-skilled" category of foreign workers. By this logic, I should be allowed to enter Canada. But just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this type of situation. Somehow, it is not so clear from the Canada immigration website if Software Architects like me could enter Canada or not.
