Can spouse sponsorship applicant go to Canada via Visitor’s visa?

Hi,
I applied for spouse sponsorship this month as my husband is a permanent resident card holder in Canada. Can I visit him in Canada while my family sponsorship processing is goin on? Kindly reply to my query.

Yes.......you could apply for Canada visitor visa (TRV).........if approved allows you to come and visit your spouse in Canada........however, the approval rate in low when you have a sponsorship application in-process as it makes it difficult to convince Visa Office that you will not overstay..

Thanks for your reply. So what are the chances of getting a visitors visa? Is it a yes or no? And how can we convince the visa officer that I won’t overstay? Because it’s really hard to stay apart like this.
