Can someone please help me - I need some clarifying

I hope someone can help.

I've applied using the EE and am currently just sitting in the pool, floating around waiting to be picked (CRS 441)

Anyway, there is a section on the application that says ' has _______ (my name) ever applied for citizen and immigration Canada before?'

The answer is unclear to me, as I HAVE been part of an application before - My Dad applied for PR and gained a job offer in 2007. My Mom, sister and me were on that application.

Does that mean I answer yes, and apply his file number ? Or no as I personally didn't apply.

This confused me. I did include it all on the OINP application though, as they can link my ties to Ontario that way (plus it was worded slightly different on their application)

If someone could assist, that would be great!

Answer Yes to that question if you have a UCI. Else answer No.

Answer No. Your dad applying (and you as a dependent) is not the same as you applying as an 'Independent' person.
