Can someone like me get work?

Hi, I'm on a 6 month long visitor Visa, visiting Canada because my boyfriend lives here. I wanted to see if I could get a work visa so that I could have more means of finances and perhaps stay here even longer. I do not have any special skills, nor relations to anyone living here.

I went to the government website and filled out something to see my eligibility toward getting a work visa, but it says I am not eligible, even if I get a job offer. Is there something I'm misunderstanding, or is someone like me actually unable to get a work permit here?

Unfortunately there are no jobs on this site and in any case it is almost impossible to find an employer willing to take on employing someone from outside Canada. Just be aware there are plenty of scam job offers out there promising jobs and work permits these are generally all money scams.
