Can somebody help me with LOE for USA student visa rejection? Reason for rejection as per Visa officer was immigration intent as USA student visa is non immigrant visa.
Can somebody help me with sentences that should go in LOE? Thanks

Did cic asked for LOE.

I'm on pgwp and lived in Canada for 6 years now. I have applied canadian visa for atleast 4 time, i got denied one time cuz of my stupidity. I've been denied US visa also. I never had to explain my denied visa to CIC. I have always checked the box or mentioned in the applicable forms that i have been denied visa but never had to explain.

But if you are adamant about explaining the refusal.

You can mention the date of application, with reference number and reason for denial.

OK, looks like Andy has first-hand experience that CIC doesn't really look for the explanation. :)

I represented for a paper-based FSWP application, and I submitted the applicant's CIC refusal letter for a past PR visa application for that part.

Does it matter if the US ever denied a visa to you? I applied for a tourist visa back in 2012, I think, and it was denied. The consular agent just gave me a generic piece of paper that they give to everyone they deny. A few months later I applied again and they gave it to me. Is this important information when applying for PR in Canada?

Yes, very important especially in case of US. Canada and US share their database for all visitors and residents.

So if a US visa was denied or if someone was removed from the US, does that decrease that person's chances to obtain a Canadian PR? :o

Absolutely not. Unless if you were removed on criminal grounds that might affect.

But simple visa denial doesn't have any effect on PR. You just have to mention truthfully when you apply.

Good luck

Oh, okay. Thanks! :D
