Hi,
I have USA B1 10 years multiple business visa in 2015. I visited USA in 2015 and came back in time so my visa is valid.

Luckily, on 21 March 2018, me and my wife got Canada multiple visitor visa, we already received our passports.

Me and wife got the visa till our passports expire.

** My passport will expires on ( 21 March 2021 )
** My wife's passport will expire on ( 05 June 2020 )

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am planning to settle in Canada, try to look for a work permit etc and wife looks for further studies or any job for time being.

** I have done Msc IT, with 8 years exp in same field ( Worked in DELL, IBM, Tech M etc in India ). ( Microsoft certified professional as well ).

**My wife has BRT degree ( Bachelor in radiation technology ) and has 20 years exp as ( Senior MRI, CTscan technician ).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Q:

1. Can I renew my and my wife's passport from Canada when it's going to expire?

2. If I get the work permit in Canada, then what's the procedure to change my visa status from Visitor to Work visa ?

3. Can my employer file PR papers for me, if "YES" then after how much time, he can do that if I get 2 years work permit ?

IF THERE ARE ANY USEFUL RESOURCES ONLINE , THAT WILL BE GREAT AS WELL...

Any help will be appreciated....THANKS :)

You've already been told before that this plan of yours to settle and find work in Canada on a TRV is not realistic or feasible. Or possibly even legal, based on the terms upon which you were granted the visa. I'd like to see you try to tell the CBSA officer at the port of entry that you are entering Canada on a TRV to try to look for work.

Asking again won't change the answers, nor will you find any "useful resources" to do so, when acquiring PR without a job offer from outside Canada is a simple and straightforward enough process.

But to answer the question in your topic title: sure, you can renew your Indian passport in Canada as this is entitled to all Indian nationals around the world.
