Hi
My parents' sponsorship file already in process, but it takes too long time. So, they want just to come for the visit of 2-3 months. Usually, there is no need to get visiting (tourist) visa prior to coming - the visa is issued directly in airport.
But I heard, that now (when their sponsorship is in process) it can be a problem and they can be refused for visit or their sponsorship file can be delayed.
Had someone deal with this situation?
Thanks,
Arthur.

No issues, quite a few of us have our folks visting - some on regular tourist visas and some on supervisa
Sponsorship and tourist visa are independent
