I am currently in Canada and in the process of getting my PR through the inland spousal sponsorship program. Since it's not advisable to leave Canada, my parents would like to visit. I had two questions since I am currently on a visitor visa.
  1. Are my parent's visitor visa likely to get refused because my PR is in process? (My spouse is a PR and she will write them a letter of invitation.)
  2. Will their applying for a visitor visa have any negative consequences on my PR application? (Currently, the medical exam is in progress).

Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you!

They will have to qualify like any other visitor based on their savings, ties to their home country, previous international travel, etc. No impact on your sponsorship.
