Hello Every one, My husband has been applying for the Express Entry for a while, he got 420 points so far. My grandfather's sister, she immigranted to Cananda about 30 years ago, and she has five children. My grandfather adopted since he was a a little boy, so my grandfather and his sister had different blood stream. I just want to know, can my her children count as our relative and add points to my husband's application? Thank you all for your help!

You don't get any extra points for family. The family isn't close enough to qualify for the family stream. So it makes no difference.

thank you all!

How about my cousin? We are in Toronto, and I have a cousin who is resident or citizen in Winnipeg. Her grand father and my grand father are brothers. Would that increase our points?

No - again, no EE points are awarded for family. And even if points were awarded, cousins are too distant a relative.

No. There's no extra ee points for family members. Any family.

But it might help with provincial nomination for Saskatchewan. Check on their website and points.
