Hi guys. I've been wanting to go to Canada to study. I was wondering if I brought my husband and children , could they (my children under the age of 18) get free education because I'll have a student visa. I want to bring them too since they're not adults yet, but I want to be sure if they can study for free. I'd be really happy if you guys informed me about that. Thank you!

If your children are studying at a primary school or high school level and attend public school - then yes, they can attend for free.

If your children would be attending college or university - they will need to pay tuition and will have to pay the higher international student fees.

Note that if your family requires a visa (TRV) to come to Canada, it's never guaranteed that your children and husband will be approved just because your study permit is approved.

That's correct as long as your kids get a study visa along with your study visa they are able to attend elementary, junior high and high school for free just like a citizen / PR. In Canada as long as you are living here legally they treat you as a resident. Very rarely do other countries practice this as far as I know. Good luck.

USA practice this as well.
