I've asked about that when I took mine and the test administrator at the Santa Monica IELTS office said that it's not possible.

No u cannot it will be only after announcement of results, if u r in india u will get SMS if u have already registered with them.

13 Calender days !! your result should be available on the 18th if theres a way to check it online, mail postage might take additional 1 to 4 days.

me to at santa monica CA ELS center on 07/31/2010 for GT, Mary Hernandez is Admin of IELTS , and she told me there is no facility of online or email or any phone call, sms facilities, they will send you by USPS at your mentioned address or you can picked up on the 12th day after the exam.

That's correct. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pick-up my results because I had to go to school on that particular day, but I got the results immediately the following day through USPS.
