Can I work full-time remotely in Germany as an International Student in Canada?

I am studying engineering at the University of Alberta. I got a remote job offer from a company in Germany. I am not a German citizen either. They don't have an office in Canada. Am I allowed to work for them while keeping my study visa? Does anyone know how taxing would work?

As long as they have no customers in Canada / do no business in Canada, then yes.
