Can I work 40 hours as a student?

Hi guys, I have a question.
I am on a study permit and I did not work at all in my last semester (4 months)
So can I work 40 hours a week now to cover up the lost hours?
Kindly let me know if this is possible or not.

No. You cannot work for more than 20 hrs/week during the study semester even if you did not work the previous semester. Only during scheduled breaks can u work full time i.e. 40 hours/week.

Absolutely not. There is no provision for "making up hours".
