Just received an email from CIC stating that they have referred the application to the local CIC, and they may require more info if needed.

Applied about 5 days ago using urgent processing

I want to withdraw my application now before I receive the RQ, I think the application might lack some solid documentation, and I want to reapply later when I get better supporting documentation. (yesterday, I found out that I don't have to travel anymore).

I am worried though - due to the fact that I applied for urgent processing, will I get RQed right away?
That is, even if I fax the withdrawal letter right now, is there a chance that they will RQ me even before processing the withdrawal request due to the urgent processing request?

Please help!!! Thank you very much in advance!

Sure you can withdraw...for the benefit of others on the forum what documentation are you lacking and did you apply with 730 days of physical presence? It seems CIC let withdrawn applications slide but who knows if they will start issuing Sec 44 reports if the applicant by submitting a weak application triggers a review of their residency.
