Can I visit Canada with a valid US visa for short term?

I am originally from Turkey and I am an international student in US. I have a F1 visa. I need to go to Toronto for 3 days to see my friend and I am wondering if I have to apply to get the Canada visa or if I am okay with the US visa to visit Canada? Thanks much in advance for the respond.

You need a Canadian visitor visa (temporary resident visa).
