Can I visit Canada while application for common law is in process?

Hey Everyone.

Thanks for all your help so far! .. just another quick question.

In March I will be returning to the UK as my visitor extention is up. I will then be applying to be sponsored by my common law partner to come back to Canada as a resident. While the aplication is in process in the London, UK office, am I allowed to visit my partner in Canada?

Yup, as you are applying Outland through London you are quite free to visit Canada. Although your entry into Canada is at the discretion of the IO when you enter, also you might want to think about what you would do if London called you back for an interview.

How much notice do they usually give you before the interview?
Is it just usually 1 interview? any idea?

I'm not sure about that because an interview does not happen in most cases, it's just good to have a plan just in case lol
