Can I use military enrolment as ties for home country?

Hello,

Every Egyptian male is required to undergo conscription after they reach 18 years old. However, we're eligible to postpone army enrolment for studying abroad. I need to come back immediately after my degree to join the army. Can I use that as a tie for home country or would this be considered a red flag?

You can try although plenty of Egyptians who have never returned to Egypt to do their military service.
