Can I use IELTS taken for UKVI?

Hi,

I know I can use IELTS for my language knowledge. I'm planning to do a IELTS (General Training) for UKVI as I'm applying to become a British Citizen. Would I be able to use that test result for applying to Express Entry or would I have to take a generic IELTS test?

This is a long shot since your post was such a long time ago, but did you try submitting the IELTS UKVI? Did they accept it?
