Can I use 10 months old police certificate?

Hi Folks,

I have my police certificate which I obtained last year in October from my home country. I sent it with my application under CEC but CIC returned it due to that 8000 cap last year.
There is a note which mentions" This police certificate is valid for 180 days after the its issuance. Another fact is that I never visited to my home country after the issuance of this police certificate. So is it safe to upload them should I get new ones?
Any thoughts?

I think it is. Attach a letter explaining that you never entered your home country after this was issued. If they need a new copy they will ask you to upload it later.

if you havent lived there since getting the PCC, and it was issues after you left, then you are fine to upload them
