can i travel with my child without my spouse

My wife is already in canada and i'm following her next month , we both have Pr's and our child is a canadian citizen by birth . Is there any problem with my traveling by airplane to canada with my child without the mother ? is there specific requirements ? or both of parents should be on plane when traveling ?

Either of you can travel with your child. You both should be listed on his/her birth certificate.

yes actually both of us are enlisted in the birth certificte but thanks for reminding me about it as i intended to take only the passport with me as i did not imagine they may need the birth certificate when travelling from outside of canada
