Can I travel via Toronto to university in BC

Hi..got an acceptance letter from Thompson rivers university,kamloops ,British Columbia and have applied online for a student visa on the 8th of august.m awaiting a reply.my question is regarding ticketing.since my university is in British Columbia.will I b permitted to travel via Toronto mumbai-Brussels-Toronto-kamloops.and if so can I step outside at Toronto airport.

yes u r .... your POE will be Toronto nd yes u can step out of toronto airport

Thanks for the reply..just wanted to know what is POE.is it port of embarkation

POE = Port of Entry....where ur student visa will b issued
