Can I Travel to CA on a Visit Visa if i Have Immigration Application Pending?

Maybe this is a redundant question, but i cannot seem to get an answer from anywhere..

Im about to start the process for application under skilled worker to CAN, and currently hold a visit visa... Does anybody know if i can still visit friends and fam in CAN while the application for res is pending / being processed???

Their is no nard & fast rule that applicants with immigration petitions cannot visit Canada as a visitor. The Visa Officer (initially) & the immigration officer (At the Canada port of entry) need to be convinced that you have strong ties with your home country & will return after your visit.
Usually people with multiple visits & staying for short duration in their past visits are not denied visitor visas, especially if they have genuine need to visit Canada.
