Can I take a U-Haul without issue over the border?

My wife is working on getting her student visa, after which I will apply for an open work permit as her spouse. Assuming this all works out, she is going for roughly 6 years of studies for engineering, so we'll be temporary residents all that time. Will it be okay as Temporary residents to bring a U-Haul across the border with all our belongings?

1. Why are you not applying together? Would be easier as assume you are US citizens.
2. If your permits are both approved then yes, you can bring your belongings in a U-Haul. Ask U-Haul about this and read through CBSA site about documenting what you bring to Canada.
