Hi all,

Trying to decide between INLAND and OUTLAND application. Currently in Canada and would like to apply Outland but I don't want to have to leave and risk not getting let back in while my application processes.

Do you know if I am able to get a special extension as a visitor if I have applied for my outland application?

Or MUST I do inland if i want to stay in the country for the duration of this process?

Thanks

No you can do outland and be in Canada. I wouldn't really call it a "special extension", you just need to get a visitor visa. That's what my husband and I did for our app.

You will have to apply for an extension of your visitor visa. Very simple to do. We did it
