Hello guys,
I believe in a very uncommon situation and I would like to know what can I do to solve this or how to proceed.

First of all, I'm an international student (financially independent) currently on my 2/3year of studies. My girlfriend is from a South American country and needs a visa to visit my home country as well as Canada.

We've been together for 3 years and we've been on a civil union for 8 months, we've lived together at least 6 months every year.

Why only 6 months? Because I can't stay in her country for over 6 months per year without some kind of work permit.

I'm checking the eligibility requirements and while PR can sponsor their conjugal partners (together for less than 1 year), international students can only sponsor their spouses (married) or common law partners with the condition they've been continuously living together for at least 1 year.

I can't meet this requirement because of the immigration barrier, and we can't get married because her country will not acknowlwdge our marriage no matter what.

What can I do?
Any help is welcome,
Thank you

Firstly only Canadian PRs or citizens can sponsor, are you either one?
