can i sponsor my mother-in-law?

im a canadian citizen, and my wife is in the process of getting inland PR, can I sponsor her mother? or the only way would be wait for my wife to get PR then 2 more years for citizenship then we can start to sponsor her mother?

You cant not.
Once she is a PR, She can sponsor her parents.

oh she doesnt have to be a citizen to do that? can she use part of my income to show that we can support her mother? since shes not working for the past year.

She can sponsor as soon as she is a PR. You can be her co-sponsor.
