Hi all! I have had my Study permit renewed quite recently. So now to travel i have to get a Visa as i want to visit my home country for around a month. However if i apply for my visa and then send the passport to cic upon request by mail, i am afraid i might not get the passport back by the time i leave for my visit. So i was wondering if i could apply for the visa from within Canada and then when the passport is requested i can send it to cic by mail from my home country. Is there a certain procedure i need to follow for this to happen, considering i am allowed to do such a thing. Thanks in advance!
