Our file comes to 5lbs......so is it ok if I send in my documents in a folder, coz I dont wanna take risk of losing those forms/papers/document if I use bull dog clips and all.Any idea...I see alot of them are using folder and lot of them they dont.

I be sending out 4-5 folder i.e for

1. sponsors document/forms
2. applicants document/forms
3. proof of relationship
4. proof of communicaiton (2 folder)

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

IMO
No folders, staples or bulldog clips.

Pack the whole lot into a box, it is easier.

I stuck my application in a folder inside the xpresspost package... surely they won't return it because of that?

Edit: two folders rather, one for my application and one with all my evidence of my relationship

I bought one of those plastic document folders to put everything in.

I organized them with 2 bulldog clips, one small one for the actual forms on the checklists, and one really large one for the evidence, which is separated by tabs, I put the photographs in an envelope to prevent them from falling apart (I have them organized chronologically).

Once my husband is done with his forms and adding his pieces of evidence, he removes the bulldog clips, puts everything back in the plastic documents folder, and sends it. If they don't want it, they can throw the folder away when they get our stuff, but I wanted everything neatly packed.

I used presentation folders... (ones that don't require hole punching or stapling), large envelopes and bulldog clips to organize our application... No issues... I'd say if it helps add order without stapling/or putting any sort of hole in the document, Then by all means go ahead...
Minor minor point, while they returned all our original documents, none of the folders/clips or otherwise were returned... I imagine those visa offices are rarely lacking in these sorts of office supplies lol

They are unlikely to return it, no doubt people have packaged there applications in many different ways.

They want life to be simple, once everything arrives the VO will arrange things how they want them anyway.
Why give them more work to do?
