Can I request for them to not ask for a remedical?

April 13th 2015 my husband did his medical exam.
April 15th 2015 we submitted the application to Mississauga.

Today, (1 year, 3 months, and 6 days ) They have requested a new medical exam.

Heres the back story.

In march 2016 they requested documents. On April 8th we submitted and received automated confirmation that it was sent. A month later I asked my MP to enquiry and she said that nothing is showing up in the system regarding the documents. So we sent them again.

In June I ordered my notes. Last week I received my notes and it stated that "documents not received, file in queue for officer review. " That night I emailed them again, the next day I showed up to the embassy and I was told by someone in immigration that they receieved the email I sent last night. I also physically handed in the papers so there was no excuse.

So. 3 months that my file was waiting in the VO because the worker was to incompetent to open the 3 separate emails that I had sent with the requested documents.

Now we are here. My medical is expired by 3 months because of the officer, and now we have to do re-medical.

Im so frustrated and angry. Now I have to wait another 2-3 months because the officer couldnt see the 3 emails or the countless enquires from my MP.

I want to write to my MP but who can I message directly for them to just move on with my case.

I would just do the re-medical. Trying to fight the re-medical will likely just delay the application longer.

You can certainly message then - however I would expect them to tell you to just do the medical.

yeah I figured. I just called one of them to see when their next appointment is. Still totally frustrated with IRCC.
