Hello to everyone
I would like to have some advice, we are in the process of family sponsorship (Dec 2019) all completed but I received information from Ircc that I have an interview pending, but they informed me that since March 2021 and I still have not received an answer(, in July 2021 I requested an TRV and was denied,) I would like to know if I should reapply for a visa, even if I have an interview pending for the permanent residence process? Thanks in advance

Interviews happen in home countries so if you do get a TRV you would have to return to do the interview. No harm in trying for the TRV.

An interview is normally requested when IRCC wants to verify that your relationship is genuine. What is your home country? Interviews are more common in some locations than others.

If you have an interview pending, a TRV is unfortunately highly unlikely to be approved. Given you already have one TRV refusal, I'm not sure it makes sense at this point to apply for another.

Have you ordered your GCMS notes to see why IRCC has requested the interview? Or maybe you already know?

Hi, PA is Cuba,
Here is the officer review
PA is dual national (Cuba - Iran)
- I note that PA has only declared residing in Cuba on SA, though SE indicates PA & SPR lived together in Iran from (Nov 2018-to April 2019
-I am of the opinion that an interview is required

So this indicates they have concerns about your relationship and are calling you for an interview to make sure the relationship is genuine.

IMO there's extremely low chance a TRV is going to be approved.
