I left my job a month ago to start my own company. It is a pre-revenue startup so I'm not getting a salary from it. I do however have more than enough funds from my previous job for the trip.
My question is, for this kind of situation in which I'm not yet paying myself a salary, would putting down my company as my employer still count? Or does it only count if I'm getting a salary? (in which case, should I be putting down 'unemployed' on my application form?)
I'm a Nigerian national but have permanent residency in the UK. My company is also UK based
