can I leave my friend 's mailing address in the federal stage?

Hi guys，
I'm preparing federal application through Quebec category.
There is an entry from imm0008 named mailing address.
I would like to know can I leave my friend's address for this entry? The reason is I have failed to receive my csq post mail from my current residential address.after 2 months waiting , I changed mailing address to my friend's address from USA. Only by doing this I finally got my csq parcel. This whole procedure took me more than 5 months long.

So at preparation stage for federal, I intent to leave my friend's USA address in case federal returns my application for some reasons and I lost my original csq due to failing to receive this postmail. BUT I don't know is there anything else can affect my application after UCI state? for example , like my visa will be mailed to usa and i have to let my friend to mail to me by courier?

It should not be an issue. The courier address is not used for any purposes during the Federal applications. All communications are done either via Email or through GCKey.

Now when it comes to PPR, there are numerous ways to submit it. One via VFS where you can specify the address or even paid courier where you specify the return address too.
