Can i leave for Canada in Feb for May Session?

There was a case on this forum a while ago where someone with a student visa tried to enter three months early and was refused (immigration suspected he might be coming to work illegally). If I remember correctly, he was able to successfully enter the country 2 1/2 months later in time for classes.

Already u got the VISA for MAY session.......@ the xperts/frnds Can I apply at JAN for the MAY session?
