Hi,
I started my work in Jun,2013 under NOC code B. It has been 12 months till now. I'm preparing all the documents and I will submit my application at the end of this month or in Aug. And then I really want to go back to school to keep studying as a full time student in Sep, is it going to be any effect on my CEC application? I heard from some of my friends that if you stop working, that would be more risky, and you may get rejected. Is that real? Can somebody give me some idea?

thanks a lot

If you are on a work permit then you can ONLY work, you can not study. Wait till you get your PR and then you can go back to studying.

Work permit --- you can work, and take program less than 6 months
Study permit --- you can study and work for max 20 hours every week

It has nothing to do with if you have applied for PR, it depends on what kind of permit
you are holding, if you really want to take academic program, then apply for a study permit,
maintain full time study and you can work part time.

CEC application doesn't require you to continue working while being processed.
