Can I give my biometrics in Canada even if I applied outland?

Hello everyone.
I just received a letter from IRCC in which they tell me i need to pay the fees for the biometrics and then they will tell me when and where to go to give them.

I applied under the family class (spouse) outland. So I knew i had to give them in my country of residence.
Since I'm pregnant i decided later to come to stay in Canada as a visitor and give birth here so it will be very difficult to travel right now.
So I was wondering if i can give them here in Canada since it says i have 30 days to do so. Also they didn't give me notice about the medical exams. Will they later? Cause i know at that point i will need to pause the process and do it after the baby will be born.

From what I understood u will need to leave country and submit your biometrics.

No you can't submit biometrics in Canada. You will need to leave Canada and submit them at one of the registered collection points listed on the website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/where-to-give-biometrics.asp). It doesn't necessarily need to be in your home country, you can choose any location that is convenient for you.

That would be great. Since I'm in Vancouver, BC i just can drive to Seattle and give them there right?

That's correct! That seems like a short drive, lucky!

We are in a similar situation but luckily we can enter the US anytime due to our passport visa exemptions. So will probably schedule in Seattle as well. Thanks alot, this thread really helped!

Hi. What do you mean by passport visa exemption? Were did you get your biometrics?
