I Got meningitis about ten years ago. A scar is on the throat because of operation.
After I left hospital, I felt OK and continue to work till now, so I answered "NO" to the question of "whether you suffered serious disease" on the visa application paper.

Now I am not sure about the answer because I did not find the definition of serious disease.
Who can tell me what is the definition of serious disease?

My answer "NO" is proper or not?

Can I pass the health examination and get the visa?

Thanks a lot!

Since at the time of medicals you had no serious disesas, the answer "NO" is correct.
10 years back some disease ?? we all get sick at some point of time. Canadians also. It should be present disease and that too incurable one or too much of expense on Canadian health care system.
Dont worry you will not get rejected on this account.
