Whats this general module and academic module IELTS?

Hi

The only difference between the General and Academic modules is the Reading and Writing sections.

For the Academic reading you would get topics that you might come across in you future Academic career since the Academic module is compulsor for students who are seeking admissions to certain universities for higher eduction. General training writing covers more general passages such as those you might find in magazines and newspapers.

Once again, in Academic writing you have to write a description of a diagram.flowchart/bar graph/line garph/pie chart etc. and an essay on a given topic whereas in General Training writing you would have to write a letter and an essay on a given topic.

General training module is answered when u require a language certification for reasons other than higher education.

Hope this helps.

hey guys..

can u give me ur details like college, fees and processing times.. this would help me a lot guys...i too aplied for PR but got rejected so applying for study permit...if u have any college list for Diploma courses it will be great...My PR rejection will effect on my Student Visa........

your PR app in process or rejection will not effect anything, ur apps will be delt seperately :)
