can i get a Postgraduate work permit from a MASTER DEGREE?

I´ve been searching for this but have no answers.
As i understand, international students can get a work permit after graduating and having a normal degree from a canadian institution... my questions are:

1. Can i go to Canada and get a post graduate work permit after getting a masters degree from a canadian institution???

2. if yes, does it has to be a public or private institution?

Hi herbest3000,

Yes, You can truly apply for the work visa after completion of Master Degree. The duration of the work visa depends on the duration of your course, like; if you had completed 1 year master you will get the work permit for 1 year or if you had two-year course you will get the work permit for 3 years. so better to go for 2 year master degree.

It doesn't matter the Uni or College, Private or Public.
