Hi

I have a green card / am a permanent resident of the USA, and need an eTA to go to Canada next week by plane.
My eTA got refused because of a stupid mistake I made. So I can't travel there by plane. I read I could go to Toronto from NY by land without needing an eTA.

I do have a plane ticket booked to go back from Toronto to NY, and was wondering if I needed an eTA to take the trip back?

Thank you so much for your help!

You do not need an eTA to fly back to the US. However make sure you speak with the airline since you aren't going to be flying the first leg of your trip (not related to the eTA but related to ensuring you can use the other half of your ticket).
