Can I enter the express pool just 1 day prior to my 1 year work experience?

Hi,

I was employed September 17, 2018 and I was preparing my express entry profile. I planned to enter the pool on September 16, 2019. So I was wondering whether the 1 year work experience requirement is calculated based on the date that I enter the pool or the date that CIC send ITA?

The system is based on month so you can enter the pool on Oct 1. However when you fill out the actual application, you need to give exact dates. So don't accept ITA before 19.

Based on my understanding, the work experience is determined based on the date you receive ITA. So you can enter the pool, but if you receive ITA before Oct 18, you should decline it.
