Hello,
I would like to know: "after my TRV expires, can I enter Canada again for up to 6 months without a visa?" I am from a visa exempt country (Italy).

Thanks,
Ivy

Moot points, as you are visitor visa exempt, you don't have a TRV. Do you mean a visitor permit that was issued when you entered Canada?

Thanks for the answer!
Yes, exactly, I have a 1-year long visitor permit because I want to immigrate, I was wondering if once it expires I can "take advantage" of the 6-months visa exempt thing. (I also applied for extension, but in case they refuse it...).

No, there no such thing as "6 month visa exempt thing" Most visitors to Canada are admitted for 6 months on their initial entry. You were admitted for a year. You apply for an extension, if it is refused, you go home.
