Can i cross Canadian border using my Dads car from USA?

Hey guys, I'm from USA, and i have a car that im the primary driver of, that i would like to drive into Canada to visit my wife, yet its in my Dad's name: I was wondering if i can still drive up there to see her even-though the car is not in my name?

I have driven across the U.S/Canada border a few times and I was NEVER asked to show the vehicle ownership. I simply showed my passport.

Awe really shoot thats crazy, even on our small trips to Seattle and back, they have always asked us whose car we were driving. I do hope that they wont bother us either when we drive through.
